Privacy Policy
Short version: we do not collect personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no mailing list. Your theme preference is saved in your own browser and goes nowhere else.
#1. Who we are
SetuSpain publishes guides about Spanish legal and administrative procedures in Bangla, English and Spanish. Contact: setuspain@proton.me. More about us on the About page.
#2. What is collected
From an ordinary visit, we collect nothing that identifies you. This is a static website with no server-side code of its own, no database and no login.
Stored in your browser, never transmitted to us:
- your light or dark theme choice
- whether you have dismissed the storage notice
Handled by our hosting provider as part of delivering the site:
- standard access logs: IP address, time, page requested, browser user-agent
Only if you choose to send it:
- the content of any email you send us, and your email address
- the author name you put on an article you submit for publication
#3. What it is used for
- Showing the site in the theme you picked.
- Delivering pages and keeping the site available and secure.
- Replying to you if you wrote to us.
- Publishing submitted articles under the author name given.
#4. Third parties
Our hosting provider processes the access logs described above on our behalf. Beyond that, this site loads no third-party scripts, fonts, analytics, ad networks, social widgets or embedded trackers. Pages you reach by clicking an outbound link, such as an official Spanish government site, have their own policies. We do not control those.
#5. Cookies
We set no cookies. The two values we store use your browser's local storage instead, and neither is used for tracking. See the Cookie Policy for detail.
#6. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Because it holds no accounts, no payment data and no database, there is no store of personal information for us to lose. That is a description of how the site is built. It is not a promise of perfect security, because nobody can honestly make that promise.
#7. Your rights
If you are in the EU or EEA you have the rights set out on the GDPR page, including access, correction, erasure and objection. Write to setuspain@proton.me.
#8. Children
The site is intended for adults dealing with Spanish administrative procedures. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
#9. Changes
Changes appear on this page with a new date. We have no mailing list and cannot notify you by email.
